Hours & Appointments

Mon-Wed 7.45am – 1pm & 2pm – 6pm
Thurs-Fri 9am – 1pm & 2pm – 6pm
Saturdays 9am – 1pm

We are an appointment only practice, but will do our utmost to see you at short notice in urgent situations, especially for sick children. Pre-work/school appointments are available Mon-Wed.

Please let the receptionist know if you require a longer consultation. The receptionist may ask about your needs, not to invade your privacy but to allow for better allocation of time. Please call ahead to check we are running on time  and let us know if you cant make your appointment. Cancellation fees may apply if less than 24 hours notice is given for missed appointments.

Telephone Calls

To avoid disturbing other patients a message will be taken and your call returned usually at the end of the session. Emergency calls are put through immediately. Often a consultation may be more appropriate.

Test Results

We aim to notify urgent results by telephone or via our no-reply email service. We will advise if an appointment is needed. Please collect your x-ray films. Uncollected xrays are archived after two months and an hourly fee then applies to retrieve them.

Billing

We are a private billing practice. Fees vary with time and complexity and are paid at time of consultation. Please ask reception for current information. We can lodge your online medicare claim where possible. We accept most cards, (not Diners or Amex).  A fee applies for repeat referrals, prescriptions etc written outside of a consultation. Most pathology and imaging is bulkbilled.

Home visits

For existing local area only patients, medically unable to attend or physically access the surgery, home visits can be booked at the discretion of the treating doctor.
